About The Author

TRGGR is the transmission of knowledge for self and community education. Our journalism illuminates the conditions that we as a global hip hop generation find ourselves in, with specific focus on people of color, poor and working class, oppressed and repressed communities. It is a celebration of our rebellious spirits, our dedication to struggle and our commitment to bridging the gaps between and within our communities, to open dialogue across generations. TRGGR is foremost a space of grassroots intellectual thought that seeks to inspire thoughts into action and TRGGR ideas into motion.

why is museum-izing hiphop a good thing? afterall we know how the cornells, harvards, william & marys are such welcoming spaces for 99% of the population! nothing ossified the life out of great black music (ie freedom jazz) than its inclusion into the academy and the museum (in conjunction with the devolution of the MOVEMENT for liberation sponsored by cointelpro and the non-profit contagion). you don”t think the gate-keeping, ruling elite know this???? can”t wait for the national hiphop day holiday to be announced! and then the postage stamps………
